This model resembles our “Zabaleta” model. This model resembles our model “Zabaleta”, only some details are more simple created. The model Phoenix is generally only produced in maple wood with a matt finish. The instrument is stained in mahogany color. The bright and clear sound of this instrument makes it suitable for a wide variety of uses. Technically the instrument you can compare with the other models of our production. For this reason this instrument is a cheaper option as well for orchestras, schools or soloists.

The studio was founded in 1924 by Joseph Obermayer and in 1966 it was taken over by Maximilian Horngacher. To this day it is a family business where knowledge and experience is passed on from generation to generation. Thanks to their extraordinary attention to quality and the incredible sound of the Horngacher harp, they are today one of the most recognizable instruments among musicians worldwide. Each instrument leaving the Horngacher studio is built based on tradition, knowledge and experience and takes over 900 working hours to build.
